For this reason I have decided to leave my original location (at the left of the mixing desk) moving to the balcony were the crowd was quieter and largely distributed. The new location was on the left balcony with no one in front of me and also few people near me (dance involved, no screams, no chat). The result is a recording with no "crowd interference", just a drunken girl that asked to me if I could loan her my eye-glasses (you can hear her at 3:23-3:32 into World's On Fire) The sound is very good (a little bit boomy maybe due the ceiling above my head... but it was boomy also on the main floor during the support act, so it could be the venue) Imho live voices, live drums and live guitar were higher in the mix than the backing tracks What about the show? It was my first The Prodigy concert. A very enjoying performance (even if I think Liam Howlett is a very talented musician, but I don't know how many keybord-parts were really played lived) Personal highlights: Breathe, Poison, the Warrior's Dance-to-Diesel Power segue, Out Of Space Technical notes: - The total running time of the recording was 1:22:56; I have cut the last useless 100 secs (prerecorded official version of Stand Up played through the PA as outro) reducing the master to 1:21:18 - I have amplified the whole recording (+3.0 dB on the left channel, +4.0 dB on the right channel) and faded-out the last 10 secs - Tracking was challenging since music runs continuously. I have decided to split tracks when the main riff of each song begins. Hope you like my choice - If you burn to audio CD, you will need 2 CDs (CD1: 1-15; CD2: 16-19) Please do not sell nor convert to mp3 for distribution (mp3 only for personal use!)
